The EXPLORE 4's AA 6061 aluminum frame is butted for weight reduction without sacrificing stiffness, and the child-specific geometry positions riders in a lightly stretched stance that builds proper form from the start. Promax hydraulic flat-mount disc brakes with 140mm rotors front and rear deliver consistent stopping force in all weather with child-tuned lever reach. The Shimano SL-RV300 Revoshift twist shifter gives a clear gear indicator and tactile click through all seven cogs, paired with a narrow-wide 28T chainring and 11-28T cassette that handles both flat sprints and gradual climbs.
