Full-power Avinox M2S performance in Pivot's most aggressive all-mountain eMTB platform

What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:

"The Shuttle AMP'd Team XX is a technically impressive build. The Avinox M2S integrates the SRAM derailleur directly into the motor system via SmoothShift, and the dw-link kinematics optimize both power transfer and rear axle path for square-edge compliance. Paired with a Fox Factory 38 and Float X, this is a purpose-built, high-travel eMTB platform that performs at the highest level."

Who It's For

Experienced to advanced riders seeking a high-travel eMTB with race-level components

The Shuttle AMP'd Team XX targets riders who demand top-tier performance and understand how to use it. With geometry tuned for aggressive trail and all-mountain riding and size-specific carbon layups from XS to XL, every rider gets a frame dialed for their size without compromise. The MX wheel setup - 29" front, 27.5" rear - gives a progressive, balanced ride that suits a wide range of body types and riding styles.

What It's For

Technical all-mountain and aggressive trail terrain where power, travel, and precision converge

With 160mm of front travel, 150mm in the rear, and a 63.7-degree head tube angle, the AMP'd is positioned between a precision trail bike and a full enduro sled. It excels on steep, technical climbs where the Avinox traction control system prevents wheel spin, and on demanding descents where the Fox Factory suspension setup and grippy Continental Kryptotal tires keep traction locked in.

Why We Like It

A chassis engineered for full-power demands at every size, not just scaled down for smaller riders

Pivot independently engineered each frame size through size-specific carbon layups and strength-to-weight analysis. The result is consistent stiffness, compliance, and ride quality across the entire size run - including a true full-power XS that few brands can match. The dw-link suspension platform further enhances this by optimizing the rear wheel's axle path for better bump compliance, preserving momentum and improving traction on the roughest terrain.

The Team XX build pairs the Avinox M2S motor with SRAM XX Eagle Transmission 12-speed via SmoothShift integration - hardwiring the derailleur directly into the Avinox system and eliminating the separate derailleur battery. This enables smoother shifts under load and the ability to shift while coasting. A partitioned battery reserve ensures shifting remains functional even if the main battery depletes. Fox Factory 38 and Float X suspension components round out a top-spec build ready for the most demanding trails.

The DP100 OLED touchscreen doubles as a cycling computer and drive unit control center, operating with wet fingers or gloves. Integrated lighting support, a stem-mounted accessory bracket using the universal three-prong standard, and a 65W USB-C charging port add practical versatility to an already formidable performance package.

Heads up - We do our best to keep bike specs and images current, but occasional component changes can happen without warning-and sometimes the photos might not show the exact build you'll receive. If you want to double-check the details,

More Trail. Full Power.

Sharp handling and a settled ride, built on two decades of suspension design.

Close-up of mountain bike DW-Link rear suspension linkage with Kryptotal tire and drivetrain components

The dw-link Advantage

dw-link separates pedaling power from suspension movement, so the motor drives the bike forward instead of fighting the rear linkage. The rearward axle path absorbs square-edge hits without bleeding traction or momentum.

Pivot Shuttle AMPd Motor

Full Power. Minimal Weight.

The Avinox M2S puts 130Nm of torque and 1300 watts through a 2.6kg motor. The Boost button unlocks 150Nm for 60 seconds when the climb demands it.

SmoothShift. One Less Thing to Manage.

Gear changes time automatically against pedal pressure and motor output. A partitioned reserve keeps the derailleur shifting even when the main battery runs out.

More Range. Faster Turnaround.

The 800Wh battery sits inside a narrow frame profile, keeping weight centered without adding bulk. The Avinox 508W fast charger, standard on Pro and Team builds, puts charge back fast.
