Cervelo Soloist Red AXS delivers a claimed 8.6-watt aero advantage with SRAM Red power meter and Reserve wheels included

The Soloist Red AXS is the complete-system update: the claimed 8.6-watt aero gain and 267-gram weight reduction over the previous generation come from a redesigned frame, a one-piece HB18 carbon cockpit, and R5-matched geometry that keeps the fit precise across sizes. UDH compatibility locks this build to electronic drivetrains only, a deliberate constraint that keeps the rear end clean and enables future Transmission compatibility, and the SRAM Red AXS E1 group with integrated power meter means no third-party add-ons are needed to race with full data.

What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:

"The Reserve 42TA up front and 49TA rear is a deliberate pairing. Enough rim depth to hold speed on flat and rolling terrain without the handling penalty of a deeper rear in variable wind, and the DT Swiss 240 Dicut hubs spin with almost no bearing drag under load."

Heads up! We do our best to keep bike specs and images current, but occasional component changes can happen without warning, and sometimes the photos might not show the exact build you'll receive. If you want to double-check the details, our Gearhead® Experts are always here to help.

The Redesign Explained

More Aero, Less Weight

The frame and fork both gained surface area for better aero shaping, not more weight. Together they shed 44g, part of the bike's 267g system-wide weight savings.

A Lighter, Faster Cockpit

The new HB18 bar and stem are molded as one piece, replacing the old two-piece setup. That's 134g lighter and 5.8 watts faster than the previous cockpit.

Narrowing The Gap To S5

The Soloist saves riders 8.6 watts at race speed versus the previous generation. That closes the gap to Cervélo's fastest bike, the S5, to just 11.8 watts, the closest yet.

Race Geometry, Every Size

Every size gets its own geometry tune, not a scaled copy of one size. It matches Cervélo's R5 down to the millimeter, so the fit and handling are proven.

Tuned For Sharper Steering

Head tube stiffness increases 10 percent for sharper, more precise steering. Bottom bracket stiffness eases slightly, a small trade-off for that extra precision up front.
