The new XTR Di2 system is Shimano’s top-tier foray into wireless shifting for mountain bikers. Available for both analog bikes and E-MTBs, the XTR Di2’s range of rear derailleurs deliver lightning-quick shifting speed and top-level performance only an electric drivetrain can deliver.

Both mid- and long-cage rear derailleur options are optimized for trail impacts with wedge-shaped designs to deflect direct hits. Plus, a new automatic impact recovery function instantly returns the derailleur to its original position to get you back into the flow quicker than ever.

Precise Control

Both XC & downhill riders get a revolutionized braking experience with the new XTR package thanks to 2- and 4-piston calipers and discipline-specific brake levers. At home on the XC circuit or the flow trail, the 2-piston caliper builds on Shimano’s lightest post-mount offering and includes revised pads for rattle-free riding. For those that need a little extra, the XTR’s 4-piston is an absolute animal, delivering predictable and precise stopping power on even the steepest descents.

The XC brake lever’s sleek and lightweight magnesium construction is a perfect fit for top-tier racers. On the Enduro side, this new brake lever features a closer pivot point, 5-degree upswept lever blade and dialed reach, putting you in the attack position to navigate technical steeps with precision and confidence.

Free-Wheeling Fun

This groupset features all-new hubs and specially designed wheelsets for individual mountain disciplines. Both cross country and enduro wheelsets feature carbon rims, smart seal design, and a 3.5-degree engagement angle, making the line fast out of the gate with less drag while coasting.

Racers (and racers at heart) will enjoy the XTR XC, Shimano’s lightest-ever carbon tubeless 29.6-millimeter hooked rim, laced with titanium straight spokes for reliable spin. Meanwhile, for the downhill-inclined Shimano has developed a big-mountain dream in their XTR Enduro wheelset. Featuring a 30mm carbon rim and stainless steel J-bend spokes, these ultra-beefy 29”ers are built to survive and easy to repair when things go wrong.
