Outpost Front World Touring Rack
Pairing the Blackburn Outpost Front World Touring Rack with the rear rack of the same name will increase your carrying capacity by another 45lbs for your next bikepacking trip. The front rack is made of the same lightweight 6061 aluminum as its rear-specific sibling, and it features the same high and low options for pannier mounting. According to Blackburn, the rack is compatible with most standard suspension forks as long as you're using 26in, 29in, or 700c tires.

Does not fit Arkel bags, likely others.
- Familiarity:
- I returned this product before using it
- Fit:
- Runs small
The outpost racks do not have the low enough attachment point necessary for attaching Arkel and likely most other non-blackburn pannier bags. Super annoying to find this out after spending the time to install. Returning.

What's the max tire width? Will this work on my Salsa Mukluk 3?

Solid Rack
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
Just picked one of these up and haven't installed it yet, but the quality looks really good. The size and shape are good and the mounting system is plenty adjustable so I don't anticipate any problems. I like that the mini top rack is removable. For an expedition rack this is relatively lightweight and Blackburn's Outpost series has a lifetime warranty!

Rack it n' pack it!
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
Sturdy and lightweight, the Blackburn pannier rack is easy to install and does the job! Well worth the extra money over other racks the Outpost rack is not only functional but is stylish also. About to use the front and rear Outpost racks along with my Niner RLT on a 6 day trip on the Divide Trail.

Update: this is indeed a sturdy rack. Install is very simple (you'll need to cut some stays to length though). It does run wide, spaced to fit wide mountain tires, so on a gravel bike I do wish it had a slimmer profile.
