The SB140 Frame delivers a highly refined take on modern trail bike performance, blending efficient climbing characteristics with aggressive descending capability. Built from Yeti’s premium TURQ carbon fiber layup, the frame balances torsional stiffness, durability, and trail compliance to provide consistent ride quality across all frame sizes. The result is a chassis that feels responsive and controlled while remaining comfortable during long, demanding rides.

Central to the frame’s performance is the Switch Infinity translating pivot suspension system. This platform manages anti-squat and leverage progression throughout the travel, producing excellent traction under power while maintaining small-bump sensitivity and mid-stroke support. The included Fox Factory Float X rear shock complements the system with external tuning adjustments and a progressive feel that helps the bike stay composed through rough terrain and heavy compressions.

The patented compact wishbone shock extender optimizes the suspension leverage rate while positioning the shock further forward in the frame. This improves packaging efficiency, increases standover clearance, and allows broader shock compatibility. Additional engineering details—including floating collet pivot axles, internally guided cable routing, and a threaded aluminum bottom bracket shell with integrated ISCG-05 tabs—enhance durability, serviceability, and overall frame stiffness.
