The 160E represents a purpose-built approach to high-performance e-MTB design. Centered around Yeti’s Sixfinity suspension platform, the frame kinematics were engineered specifically for the increased mass, acceleration forces, and sustained speeds of an electric drivetrain. Delivering 160mm of rear travel, the system runs 100% anti-squat at sag and 65% anti-rise to balance pedaling efficiency, braking neutrality, and traction under power.

Sixfinity features a three-position adjustable leverage rate, allowing riders to tune progression and bottom-out resistance while preserving geometry and suspension characteristics. The compact Infinity link enables shorter chainstays without compromising dual 29in wheel compatibility, improving agility while maintaining rollover speed and traction.

Power is supplied by Shimano’s EP8 motor producing up to 85Nm of torque, paired with a 630Wh integrated battery for consistent performance over extended efforts. Integrated wire management eliminates rattle and accommodates wireless drivetrains, mechanical setups, or moto-style brake configurations. Designed for riders who demand precision at speed, the 160E continues to reward control and stability even beyond the motor assist threshold.
