Why We Like The Speedplay Nano Pedals
Wahoo's Speedplay Nano Pedals continue to offer one of the lowest profiles and most aerodynamic designs out there, and the pedal contact is second to none. We throw these pedals on our racing road bikes knowing that every bit of effort is directly transferred from our legs to the cranks. Nano pedals are ultralight and ultratough, with the new Wahoo edition offering harder contact points to make sure this generation of pedals lasts longer.

There is a 180 lb rider weight limit!
There is no mention made of it here, but if you check the Wahoo Fitness website for these pedals, you will see there is a 180 lb rider weight limit. No weight restriction for the Comp, Zero, or Aero variants. Just be aware.

Best pedal
Very light. Very smooth when pedaling. Highly recommended.

They’re the same, except less.
These are essentially zeroes but an appreciable amount lighter. There a good option when you need to take a little more off without compromising.

So far, so good ...
I am sure once I get used to clipping in, I will love them. #TeachAnOldDogANewTrick :)

Have been using these pedals
Have been using these pedals for a few weeks now and they are fantastic. Took a couple of rides for either the spring in the cleat to get a little looser or for me to just get used to using them. However once I was familiar with them clipping in and out was a breeze.

pedal side to side play......
Right side pedal has side to side play.....makes a horrible creaking sound and feels wobbly when clipped in....

Received old pedals, dirty and missing cleats.
I received old, dirty, rusted pedals and cleats missing in old packaging. Not once but twice! Customer service was easy to deal with and they obviously accepted to refund me.

ISSUE with LEFT PEDAL
I was expecting a hassle-free transition from my previous SPEEDPLAY Titanium system, but that was not the case. The left pedal is tough to engage...it should not be this difficult for a pedal this expensive

Surprise In Upgrading from Old Pedals
My old speedplay pedals needed to be replaced. Well, ok, I could have replaced the bearings. But new pedals are so fun! The pedal replacement itself was easy. It's nice not to have to use a pedal wrench with the new method. But the cleats were a different story. I simply swapped out the cleats over the same spot and with the same orientation as the old ones, and I found that it wasn't exactly the same position. Stupid me, I did a 50 mile ride the day I switched the cleats out, and I ended up with knee pain. :-( So re-adjustments are needed. Otherwise, everything is good.

Great pedal, poor quality hardware.
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer

I've had experience with several Speedplay pedals, in essence, these are just a newer rebranded version. The ti pedal itself is great and I love that the cleat has a nice cover to make walking much easier. However, the screws for adjusting your heel-in and heel-out are really soft and mine were absolutely frozen upon arrival. Even with a precision screwdriver it still stripped two screws, while the others moved freely. Two sets of replacement cleats from Wahoo later and randomly I still encounter frozen or cross threaded screws from the factory. So, QC is rubbish, and they hardly raise an eyebrow when you write to them, so they must be well-aware of this issue.
