Why We Like The Skyline Short
When you're out for a solo expedition searching for far-off ridgelines, make sure you take the Troy Lee Skyline Shorts along for the ride. Crafted from Coolmax polyester with just a touch of lycra, the Skyline shorts are designed to move with you while you chase down the sun for one last mile of singletrack before setting up camp for the night. They come equipped with their own removable liner short with a supportive TMF pad that cushions your sit bones for long miles on the trail, but can be swapped out easily for another liner if you're on a multi-day excursion.

The snap button just doesn't want to stay buttoned. Had other pants with this style of snap button and same issue. I'd buy something else.

Long time skyline shorts customer, the latest generation from the 2021 season are my favorite, fits are revised, seams hold up well, liners are better than I remember and just a great short for me to do it all in...trail bike mostly, but can do the bike park in them and not feel out of place.

First ride out, zipper fly broke. Backcountry also shipped me a weird beige color. Walnut is not the picture advertised. FYI.

The shorts seem to be holding up but the liner is absolutely the worse liner I have ever purchased. Bought 3 months ago and have worn 6 times, I have followed the wash instructions closely as I paid $117 for the shorts and liner and wanted them to last a long time. The threading in the liner has come undone and continues on each wash. I will never purchase another Troy Lee Design product ever again. I even contacted Troy Lee customer service directly and never received a response. Horrible product and worse company.

The MTB shorts are great. Quality made etc. Fit is good per size chart. The liner while quality runs small per the size chart. Recommend buying them separate and sizing up on the liner per size chart

ive used these for a couple of sesons . I would say they are comfortable, cool on hot days and durable. I don't machine wash or dry. Found the fit spot on except the liner was too small for the 30 in size

Comfy and good fit but quality is meh

The fit on these shorts is great, not too baggy and not too skinny. The padded liner breathes well and is comfy on long rides. I have two complaints however. The padded liner has some stitching coming apart after 6 uses. The shorts also are pilling pretty bad on the front after a few rides. They have not came in contact with anything abrasive so that is pretty disappointing. For the price, I would look at something different for sure.
