Consistent training through shoulder seasons means riding in conditions that are less than ideal, and front wheel spray on a road bike is one of the more demoralizing parts of a wet ride. The Topeak TetraFender R1 mounts to the fork via hook and loop straps with no tools required, fitting disc brake compatible forks between 55 and 85mm wide and designed specifically for 700c wheel sizes with tire widths between 25 and 32mm, which puts it in range for most modern road and endurance builds running standard rubber.

The angle-adjustable engineering-grade polymer struts are what make the R1 worth running over a generic clip-on option.
