Roll harder, corner cleaner, and lose less momentum with the Camrock 32in Tubeless Tire
What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:
"The Teravail Camrock 32in Tubeless Tire is one of the most thoughtfully developed XC tires in the 32-inch format, and it shows in how it behaves on hardpack. The Fast Plus compound rolls with almost no discernible drag on smooth terrain, but there is enough lug edge sharpness and siping to hold a line when things get loose or rooted without the tire hunting around. The Superstructure casing is the spec I would recommend for anyone using this as a primary race or training tire, the puncture resistance and sidewall stability it adds are meaningful without adding weight that undermines what the Fast Plus compound is doing underneath you."
The 32-inch wheel format brings a specific set of performance characteristics to XC riding, and the Teravail Camrock 32in Tubeless Tire is engineered to capitalize on all of them. Greater rollover capability, higher sustained momentum, and a larger contact patch are the inherent advantages of the format, and the Camrock's tread design, compound selection, and casing architecture are all built to maximize those properties on the hardpack and punchy XC terrain where 32-inch wheels perform at their best.
The Fast Plus rubber compound anchors the performance case. Formulated specifically to minimize rolling resistance, it is Teravail's fastest rolling compound and operates without the grip compromises that aggressive rolling resistance reduction typically demands. The low-profile, evenly spaced lug pattern works in direct support of that compound choice, keeping tread features out of the way on smooth terrain while the rounded tire profile maintains a predictable, stable contact patch through flat corners at speed. Sharp lug edges and siping across the tread blocks engage when conditions shift, conforming to loose over hard, embedded rock, and light root exposure without the rider needing to manage the transition consciously. Minimal tread feature overlap keeps the casing supple and compliant, reducing the high-frequency chatter that hardpack terrain generates and preserving the smooth, momentum-sustaining ride quality that makes a fast XC tire feel genuinely fast rather than just theoretically efficient.
The Superstructure casing upgrade is the specification decision that separates this tire for performance-oriented use. Extra-fine hardened nylon fibers integrated into the casing structure produce a lighter and stronger tire than standard construction, improving puncture resistance and sidewall folding resistance simultaneously while enhancing the rollover capability and momentum retention that define 32-inch wheel performance at its ceiling. Available in Light Trail at 120 TPI and 880g or Durable at 60 TPI and 930g, both options are tubeless-ready with a folding bead, and the 40 PSI maximum gives riders meaningful latitude in pressure tuning for traction and compliance across varied hardpack conditions.
