Why We Like The HS2 Rotor
Designed to reduce braking noise and improve heat dissipation, the SRAM HS2 rotor helps our bikes stop faster than ever while staying quiet on steep, sustained descents. The HS2 is thicker than previous SRAM rotors, measuring a full 2mm thick, and it uses a new brake track pattern that increases traction against the brake pads. These features work together to improve stopping power, while the recessed spokes with thermal dissipating paint keep the rotor running cool.

Worth every penny

I have SRAM G2 "trail" brakes on my XC bike. I'm around 195lbs. I found them a little lacking in stopping power even with sintered pads. I was gonna replace them with code brakes but I decided to try these HS2 rotors. Because they're thicker the bite point seems to be higher in the travel and feels like my code brakes with normal SRAM centerline rotors on my Enduro bike. Very happy with this purchase/upgrade

Improved Stopping Power
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
I was stoked to see this rotor improvement from SRAM. I don't know how they based the increased braking performance but it works as advertised. I mounted the 220 in the front and 200 in the back. Besides looking stylish, it's provided a lot more confidence on short, steep descents. I've yet to try them on a long, steep descent so I can't say anything about brake fade. We'll see...

Best Rotor Yet

From SRAM. Have installed these on several bikes now with organic pads (Utah climate) and have had exceptional results. The common sense behind these rotors is nothing more than basic. But the fact that SRAM finally did it makes me happy. I will only be buying these rotors from here on out when it comes to SRAM. Thanks for bringing these in!

Crazy Good Rotor

Yes its a metal disc that stops your bike but this is a really good metal disc that REALLY stops your bike. Upgrade from 200mm to 220mm. Little to no fade on long downhills.
