The SRAM Centerline X Rotor takes all the amazing cooling capacity and high-powered braking functionality of its predecessor, the Centerline, and swaps out the old steel center for aluminum to drop a few grams along the way.

The Centerline X gets it name from a line of strategically placed vents running through its steel braking surface that reduce overheating. Better heat management improves braking consistency on long descents and other brake-heavy trail sections compared to rotors without these vents. The Centerline X Rotor also features the same 12-spoke design as its predecessor to reduce lateral bending or warping under heat stress for stable, smooth braking every time you pull the lever.

I'm sold.

This past December, I purchased a Santa Cruz Stigmata CC with an Ultegra hydraulic disc drivetrain, and wanted to get a second pair of wheels for use with skinny tires on the road. At the time I bought the wheels, we were out of stock of the Shimano XTR/RT99 rotors that came on the stock build, so I grabbed a pair of these instead. Thus far, I cannot tell any difference between the two, except that these cost me less money than the RT99s would have. Same stopping power, same general lack of noise, and as near as my fingers can tell, same heat dissipation.

Needed centerlock with wheel upgrade

I have these brake rotors on another set of wheels that are six bolt mounted. I needed these centerlock discs for my new wheels. Both mounting versions are the same fit and performance with an exception being, no brake noise with the centerlock. Braking performance is very good with Sram's Level TLM calipers.

I'm running these rotors instead of Shimano rotors on another set of wheels for my Stigmata. Have not noticed any difference in braking power or heat dissipation between the two, and these are less expensive. I've got no problem recommending SRAM rotors instead of Shimano rotors, even with Shimano disc brakes.

Minimal squealing with properly adjusted calipers and brake pads burned in.

Which lockring would work with these discs?
Brand/Part number would be great.

Are these rotors compatible with Force CX1 brakes?

140's are just fine in my book

Building up a new bike and chose SRAM 140mm rotors because of the lack of availability of Shimano 140mm rotors.....don't need 160mm or the hassle of obtaining a flat mount adapter.

Stopping Power

Rotors...a necessary item. Work great with my Sram Guide brakes and add some weight savings when every little bit counts.

Do you know the weight of the 160 mm (or any of the rotors)?

No lock ring included. I just received and weighed 2 160mm centerlock rotors - 120g and 121g. (Yeah I know this answer is about a year too late)

Double question - 1) These are the latest version Guide Rotors, yes?
2) Can I use these with my XT brakes?
