411 2.0 Innerbarends deliver 14-watt aero gains with lightweight trail-ready design
What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:
"I recommend these for riders who want a second hand position without compromising control. The aerodynamic tuck feels noticeably faster on long stretches, and the ergonomic shift helps reduce upper-body fatigue on all-day rides."
The 411 2.0 Innerbarends translate aerodynamic efficiency into a compact, trail-ready cockpit upgrade. Inspired by the proven 411 R Carbon design, this version delivers similar ergonomic and aerodynamic advantages in a lightweight fiber composite construction with broad compatibility.
By shifting the hands inward, the 411 2.0 promotes a narrower arm profile that reduces frontal area. Internal testing indicates an average savings of 14 watts at 36 km/h—approximately a 5% energy reduction—making it particularly effective on long fire roads, marathon efforts, and down country terrain. The altered hand position also relaxes neck musculature and redistributes palm pressure, improving comfort over extended durations.
Unlike traditional bar ends, brake levers remain easily accessible, even on modern wide handlebars, preserving control and safety. With an 18mm clamping width and compatibility across standard 22.2mm handlebars, installation is straightforward. The design integrates cleanly with SQlab 711, 7OX, 710 2.0, 702 2.0, and 721 2.0 grips, replacing the clamp ring for a seamless interface.
At approximately 56g per pair and rated to DIN/ASTM category 2, the 411 2.0 Innerbarends offer a performance-driven balance of aerodynamic benefit, ergonomic relief, and lightweight integration for trail and down country riders seeking efficiency gains without sacrificing control.
