410 2.0 Innerbarends improve ergonomics and brake access for trekking riders
What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:
"I suggest these for riders who want a second hand position without sacrificing control. The revised shape feels more supportive on long tours, and I never feel disconnected from the brakes when traffic or terrain changes."
The 410 2.0 Innerbarends refine the proven 411 platform with enhanced ergonomics tailored for trekking sport applications. By shifting the hand position inward, they promote a neutral wrist alignment that reduces muscular tension in the neck and shoulders while redistributing pressure across the palm. The result is improved long-distance comfort without compromising control.
Unlike traditional bar extensions, the 410 2.0 maintains consistent access to brake levers in every grip position—an essential feature for urban riding and extended tours where reaction time matters. The optimized clamping mechanism provides secure mounting on standard 22.2mm handlebars with an 18mm clamping width and a maximum torque specification of 4Nm.
Designed for seamless integration with SQlab grips 711 and 7OX, as well as compatibility with SQlab 2.0 handlebar systems, the Innerbarend replaces the clamp ring for a streamlined cockpit interface. Constructed from fiber-reinforced composite plastic and weighing approximately 104g per pair, it offers a balanced combination of durability, ergonomic refinement, and trekking-ready performance.
