Maintaining comfort without sacrificing power output is one of the biggest challenges in saddle design. The S-Works Phenom Mirror Saddle addresses that challenge with a combination of advanced materials, ergonomic shaping, and innovative manufacturing. Built around Specialized’s Body Geometry research, the saddle is designed to reduce pressure on sensitive areas while supporting efficient pedaling across long rides and high-intensity efforts.

At the core of the design is Mirror technology, a 3D-printed structure made from liquid polymer that forms a complex honeycomb matrix. This structure uses over twenty thousand individual struts and thousands of nodes to create a supportive yet compliant surface that adapts to a rider’s anatomy. Compared to traditional foam saddles, the Mirror insert reduces sitbone pressure by up to 28%, helping maintain comfort and circulation during long hours in the saddle.

Supporting the Mirror insert is a concave, flex-tuned carbon shell that provides both structural support and subtle compliance to absorb road or trail vibration. Oversized 7x9mm carbon rails keep overall weight impressively low while maintaining durability for high-performance riding. The saddle’s long, flat profile—measuring 27cm from nose to tail—allows riders to shift forward or back easily to optimize power output during climbs, tempo efforts, or technical terrain.
