Built specifically for hardpack race courses, the tire maintains high straight-line speed while still providing the control needed when navigating corners and technical sections.

The tread pattern features tightly packed center knobs designed to minimize rolling resistance and maintain momentum on smooth terrain. Paired with Specialized’s GRIPTON dual T5/T7 compound, the tire uses a faster T5 compound along the center for maximum speed, while the grippier T7 compound on the shoulders improves traction when cornering aggressively. Block-In-Block outer knobs enhance stability when the tire is leaned over, allowing riders to maintain speed through turns without sacrificing control.

Supporting the tread is the Grid Lite casing, which balances low weight with added sidewall protection for cross-country race conditions. The 60TPI construction improves durability and stability while remaining light enough for competitive builds.
