After a few months of use the shoes didn't disappoint. First topic is fit. I wear a size 45 in Shimano and Giro, so I ordered the Sidi's in the same size according to the sizing chart. I typically wear a size 10.5 in vans shoes, occasionally an 11 depending on who makes the shoes. So knowing this I read all the reviews I could to make decision. The size 45 fit great although first thought was a lot of toe box room, not side to side room but top to bottom. This volume of space caused no fitment issues. After a few months the fit is still feeling great. The only reason I gave these a four star and not a five is because I'm picky with details. So this may not be an issue for you. When you first break in the shoes the top plastic strap on the very first ride started to stick out straight on the inside and rub up against my carbon cranks. When I first put them on this is not the case and happens when the shoes start to take shape to your foot. After the first ride I solved this issue by first finalizing my adjustment on the strap and cutting off the excess that stuck out. This made them perfect and no more rubbing. Overall I'm very happy with these shoes and the grey color never really looks dirty. This would have to my favorite MTB shoes I've owned in quite a while.
Great Cycling Shoes!
I origanally bought a pair of Sidi cycling shoes about 2 years ago, and was concerned that they would not be worth the money I paid, even though I got them on sale (from REI). I think I paid about $200, and loved them. They are comfortable after hours of riding. Those shoes were tightened with velcro, and a rachet system. After about 2 years - and the shoes are still great - I decided to spring for these expensive shoes. I don't regret a penny of the cost. They are simply amazing. Pedaling has been raised to a joy. They are easy to put on, take off, adjust on a moving bike, and never a "hot spot". It is hard to justify the money these shoes cost, and if that is a big deal, then by all means buy a cheaper pair of Sides. You can't go wrong. If you can afford these, you'll love them.

I bought the Draco 2s in the same size as my Tigers. I wanted a Techno system that was not so prone to gumming up in the dirt. The Tigers Techno needs constant cleaning after dirty rides. They are a bit of a pain to remove. So I figured the Draco would have the same last and should fit the same as the Tiger. Nope. the Drako uppers have a much higher "volume" I had the Technos completely closed to the point that the tongues were touching and they were still too big. This was with a specialized blue insert and some shims and fat wool socks!
So, if you have a skinny foot, these are not going to work. The workmanship is outstanding.
