We rely on the XTR M9250 Rear Derailleur as Shimano’s most advanced drivetrain component for aggressive trail, enduro, and cross-country applications. Built around the Di2 wireless platform, it delivers instantaneous, precise shifting through HYPERGLIDE+ technology, maintaining smooth gear transitions even under heavy pedaling loads.

The derailleur features Shimano’s SHADOW ES design, which enhances chain stability while improving protection against trail impacts. A reworked wedge-shaped profile increases ground clearance by 23mm, reducing the likelihood of strikes in technical terrain. In the event of impact, the auto-recovery system automatically repositions the derailleur, ensuring continued performance without manual adjustment.

Constructed with a carbon cage, reinforced pulley system, and integrated skid plate, the derailleur balances low weight with high durability. It is offered in both medium cage (GS) and long cage (SGS) configurations, supporting 9–45T and 10–51T cassette ranges respectively. A removable, protected battery system ensures reliable power delivery while maintaining a clean integration.
