Why We Like The SD5 Cycling Shoe
If you've ever gone on a casual cruise in sandals but couldn't get over your natural inclination to rip a few sprints, Shimano sends your open-toed cycling into full flight with the SD5 Cycling Shoe. "Shoe" is a bit of misnomer, as the SD5 is an open-to-the-breeze, dual strap cycling sandal with a fiberglass-reinforced rubber sole and compatibility for a two-bolt cleat. So whether you are on the way to a casual weekend burrito lunch or shredding home from the end-of-semester class for summer break, you'll feel the breeze on the toes and the traction on the pedals.

Great way to keep the summer cool!
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
I use my sandals for just about everything. I bike to work and use these sandals to keep cool during the hot Utah days. Not to mention they leave a sweet tan line on my feet. I do enjoy the fact that these are comfortable and don’t stink up like others. Sometimes I’ll just use these and switch over to my birkenstock. However I don’t necessarily hear the metal clip on the ground to many times so there’s no annoying way of walking. They are true to size and just a bit more. So make sure you use that when you’re choosing your size!

Pricey but if they last the 10 years I expect like my last pair of inferior sandals than well worth it.
