Great cables

Just replaced my cables on my Ridley Noah with these and they work great. Super smooth, and would use again for sure.

Do you work for Competitive Cyclist? You also reviewed the Jagwire cables as well & basically said the same thing? Which do you prefer? If you are using both. Thanks

Hey Albert, yes I do work for Competitive Cyclist. The Shimano PTFE coated cables are one of my favorites, and I would highly recommend them. Feel free to reach out to myself or another Gearhead with any questions. Thanks.

Quality Brake Cables
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
While it is easy to forget about your brake cables, regular inspection and replacing is crucial to keeping your bike safe while out on the roads. These Shimano cables are a great replacement for the worn out brake cables currently on your bike.

Lubrication or not?
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
I had ordered this cable but it was on back order so I purchased non lubricated cables from a competitor. I then reordered another lubricated cable and installed those two lubricated cables because I am so anal retentive that I couldn't stand the thought that I would be cycling with one lubricated and one non lubricated cable! Remember, order cable housing units when replacing brake or shifter cables. Lubricated cables install easier and offer longer cable use as non lubricated ones, which split apart after a year in harsh desert riding conditions of Southern California!
