This set comes with everything you need to replace your front and rear shift cables and housing on your road bike. Stainless steel shift cables are highly corrosion-resistant, with an Optislick coating for smoother shifts and greater longevity. Sealed end caps keep out mud and grit encountered on the trail. Shimano's SP41 cable housing uses a special silicone grease for lighter shifting actuation. Please note, the included shift cables attach to both SRAM and Shimano derailleurs.

Sleek and color options are nice
Got this for my tyee 6 size S frame, the 1.7m cable housing just managed to fit my bike. If you have a larger mtb bike this would not fit your frame

No where near enough cable

I have a size large fezzari Delano peak. I got this kit to do my dropper post and shifting. It wasn’t enough outer housing to even route the shifting, and barely enough to do the dropper post. How is it supposed to do both in any bike with internal routing?? On the bright side, it made the dropper lever feel way smoother and light action.

Good product. Install was super easy. I used a Jagwire Slick LUBE Liner to route the cables internally with easy. One note, if your bike has outer cable the full length of the wire run, you'll need another 75' or so of outer. Many road bikes stop at the frame entry/exit points, in which case this kit should have enough outer.

Shimano now recommends the use of a special length of outer cable (OT-RS900) for the final part of the cable run from the frame to the rear derailleur on certain derailleurs. Does the Optislick Derailleur Cable And Housing Set include that OT-RS900 cable?
