ShimanoDura-Ace Grease
Item # SHI0516
Top shelf.
What do they call it in the wine business? "Private Reserve"? That's exactly what you're getting in this 50g jar—the best-quality grease Shimano uses. Anything branded Dura-Ace that has ball bearings is packed in this exact grease. It's as slick as the yellow line in a rainy summertime criterium. Shimano is very, very careful with the Dura-Ace brand. Nothing is called Dura-Ace unless Shimano fervently believes in its excellence. It might just be grease here, but the fact Shimano chooses to call it Dura-Ace is an indisputable testament to its quality.

This is great grease!!!! Little bottle and not for everything on your bike but love it for keeping water out and keeping things lubed up.

DO NOT BUY -- incorrect listing
- Familiarity:
- I returned this product before using it
I ordered this item and was sent Shimano Premium grease. CS explained me that Shimano did away with their Dura Ace grease and now it's called Premium grease. If that's the case then this listing should be updated to reflect accurate branding. After contacting CS Support I was sent a return shipping label. They refunded $15.95 after the return the first time. Upon contacting CS again I was refunded the remaining $7.95 shipping charge. Would have never thought that 50 grams of bike grease could cause so much trouble!

Do you have MSDS for this item? Or renamed Premium grease? Thank you

Hey Rytis U, We're sorry for the title being incorrect. I have filed for this to be corrected. I have refunded your shipping charge. You have been fully refunded. This grease is the Dura Ace grease, and has been renamed. Shimano has been doing this with their chains as well, so you no longer can find a Dura Ace chain, but rather a CN-HG900 chain. Thanks for bringing the mistake to our attention and we will get this updated soon.
