The Shimano DEORE XT BL-M8200 Brake Lever is built for riders demanding total braking control through varied terrain, technical descents, and race-day pressure. Refined with a new pivot location that better aligns with the finger’s natural motion, the BL-M8200 improves ergonomic comfort while increasing response and lever feel. The alloy lever body uses Shimano’s trusted stamping process for durability, while a reshaped blade profile delivers confident braking with or without gloves.

SERVO WAVE technology has been reengineered to create a smoother, more progressive power curve. This redesign provides more pad clearance at the beginning of the stroke and a stronger ramp-up at the end, letting riders fine-tune how they modulate brake force. Combined with Shimano’s updated low-viscosity mineral oil, it ensures reliable, fade-resistant braking through long descents and temperature swings.
