We could all use a little more organization.
Other than the fact that this bag uses water resistant materials and has storage space for your wet cycling duds, we're not too certain why anyone would want to relegate the Race Rain Bag from SciCon just to days when precipitation is falling from the sky, as its name implies, or just racing either for that matter. We found that it makes an excellent gear bag for everyday use and we're spoiled with its quality craftsmanship as we've come to expect from SciCon. If your old bag has seen better days and you're looking to up your pro game, treat yourself to the Race Rain Bag and carry all of your cycling essentials with proper organization and style.
Perhaps our favorite feature with this bag is its individual compartments, which are all labeled and makes finding clothing and warmers quick and easy. No more dumping your bag on the ground to find that all important accessory you're after as you scramble to get dressed after arriving late to the race. Shoes and socks, arm and leg warmers, gloves, helmet, jersey, and jacket all have their own spot so packing for travel and getting ready to ride has never been easier.
On the outside of the bag, SciCon uses a high-density woven 840 denier Nylon thread with a thick PU coating for water resistance. It's tougher than polyester and provides increased durability while keeping the weight to a minimum. As such, it offers excellent abrasion resistance, so it'll hold up to many seasons of use. Inside the bag, the 210 denier Nylon thread provides the lining and sandwiches the high-density foam that protects the contents inside the bag during travel.
