Why We Like It

The four-bar suspension platform required Santa Cruz to develop custom shock tunes for the Tallboy 6 rather than using supplier defaults, working through configurations until the leverage curve behaved consistently across the full travel range. That kind of development investment shows up in how the bike handles repeated hits rather than isolated ones, where suspension that loses sensitivity mid-stroke starts to feel harsh and unpredictable.
