Trail-ready Bronson C MX 70 features T-Type shifting and mixed wheel handling
What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:
"The Bronson C MX 70 strikes a sweet spot with its mixed wheels—fast-rolling up front, nimble out back. The updated VPP linkage feels dialed and predictable, and SRAM’s latest Eagle T-Type transmission really does make in-shift pedaling a reality. If you're hammering bike park laps one day and tackling backcountry epics the next, this bike delivers on both fronts."
The Bronson C MX 70 is a do-it-all trail destroyer that thrives in unpredictable terrain. With a 150mm rear and 160mm front travel platform built on Santa Cruz’s proven VPP™ design, it pedals efficiently while staying responsive and playful in the rough. The mixed wheel setup—a 29-inch front for confidence and rollover and a 27.5-inch rear for quick cornering—blends agility and traction perfectly for aggressive all-mountain riders.
Outfitted with SRAM’s robust Eagle T-Type 12-speed drivetrain, shifting remains precise and quiet even under heavy pedaling load. The SRAM 70 crankset with a 32t ring drives a wide-range 10–52t cassette, ensuring gear coverage for steep climbs and fast descents. Suspension duties are handled by a FOX Float Rhythm rear shock and RockShox Lyrik Base fork, while braking power comes from the consistent SRAM DB8 system with dual 200mm Centerline rotors. The Reserve 30|TR AL wheels with Fillmore valves bring durability and quick inflation to your setup, and the Maxxis EXO+ tires keep grip high through corners and loose terrain.
With a dropper post, sturdy alloy bar and stem combo, and an SDG Bel-Air saddle, the Bronson C MX 70 comes ready to ride hard straight out of the box. Whether you’re slashing berms at your local bike park or linking rowdy alpine trails, this build inspires confidence without sacrificing fun.
Heads up — We do our best to keep bike specs and images current, but occasional component changes can happen without warning—and sometimes the photos might not show the exact build you’ll receive. If you want to double-check the details, our Gearheads are always here to help.
