The Santa Cruz Blur is our steed of choice for everything from toeing the line at our local cross-country race series to multi-day singletrack adventures with our buddies. Santa Cruz engineers took to the drawing board to create the most efficient rear suspension possible with the Superlight design, and the 100mm of travel helps our rear tire remain planted on technical climbs and provide a bit of extra traction on loose descents. The aggressive geometry puts us into a powerful climbing position, while the 68.3-degree headtube angle provides razor-sharp handling without feeling squirrely in more technical terrain.

This iteration of the Blur builds off of the reliable, low-maintenance SRAM GX Eagle AXS 12-speed drivetrain for its combination of lightning-fast shifting and impressively wide range. A combination of the ultra-light RockShox SID SL Select+ fork and the SIDLuxe Select+ shock handle the suspension duties and have a remote lockout to put pedaling efficiency at our fingertips. Durable Race Face ARC Offset 27 rims are laced up to Industry Nine 1/1 hubs to keep us rolling through the increasingly gnarly cross-country race courses, while a pair of SRAM Level TL brakes let us stop on a dime when things start to get out of hand.
