The Alpinist Cockpit II reduces front-end weight compared to traditional bar-and-stem combinations while maintaining precise steering response. The redesigned D-shaped top section increases hand contact area by 12%, distributing pressure across the palm to reduce fatigue during extended climbing efforts. Meanwhile, engineered compliance delivers 28.3% more vibration damping than the Rapide cockpit, smoothing rough pavement without sacrificing steering accuracy. A 125mm drop and 75mm reach maintain a balanced road fit, while the 4-degree flare at the drops adds extra control when sprinting or descending at speed.
