The Roval 321 Disc - Disc Brake is engineered to deliver maximum aerodynamic efficiency and rolling performance for time trial and triathlon applications. Designed through extensive CFD modeling and wind tunnel testing, its shape is optimized to work in conjunction with the tire and on-bike airflow, reducing drag and improving speed retention.

Unlike traditional disc wheel constructions, the 321 utilizes a single-layer 1k carbon layup on each side of the wheel. This advanced material reduces weight while enhancing ride compliance, resulting in improved acceleration and reduced rider fatigue over long distances. The structure is tuned to achieve optimal stiffness that works with frame flex characteristics, avoiding excessive rigidity that can lead to brake rub under load.

The hub system integrates DT Swiss 240 internals paired with CeramicSpeed bearings, minimizing friction and improving drivetrain efficiency. The wheel is tubeless compatible and supports a wide range of tire sizes, allowing riders to fine-tune performance based on course conditions.

With a total system weight of approximately 1015g, the wheel balances aerodynamic performance with manageable weight for varied terrain. Hand-built construction ensures consistency and precision throughout the manufacturing process.
