Built on Ridley's ASTR carbon platform, the XPLR 13-speed drivetrain and Zipp 303 XPLR wheels make this a ready-to-race gravel machine

What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:

"The SRAM Rival XPLR 13-speed system is purpose-built for gravel, and this build makes the most of it. The 10-46t cassette gives you genuine mountain range without sacrificing road-end speed, and the Zipp 303 XPLR's 32mm internal width is perfectly matched to the 700x47 Vittoria Terreno Dry tubeless tires. The Forza Cirrus Pro integrated cockpit dials in front-end stiffness, and the ASTR's BB86 shell and HM carbon layup translate every watt efficiently."

Who It's For

Performance-oriented gravel riders who want a dialed 1x carbon build without the build-up hassle.

This package suits intermediate to advanced riders who prioritize a clean, wireless 1x drivetrain on a proven carbon platform. The ASTR's geometry favors riders who want race-inspired handling rather than a more relaxed adventure fit. Size-specific stem lengths (90mm for XS/S/M, 100mm for L, 110mm for XL) and crank arm lengths (160mm for XS/S, 165mm for M, 170mm for L, 172.5mm for XL) ensure the fit is dialed across the range.

What It's For

Gravel racing, mixed-surface gran fondos, and high-speed dirt road riding.

The ASTR XPLR build is optimized for fast, dry gravel terrain where aerodynamic efficiency and drivetrain precision matter. The SRAM Rival XPLR AXS 13-speed rear derailleur pairs with the 10-46t cassette to cover everything from rolling roads to steep dirt climbs. The Vittoria Terreno Dry G2.0 TLR 700x47 tubeless tires offer low rolling resistance with enough volume for confidence on rough surfaces. The 52mm tire clearance leaves room to run even wider rubber if conditions call for it.

Why We Like It

The ASTR platform is one of Ridley's most refined gravel chassis, and this build takes full advantage of it.

The HM carbon frame features internal cable routing, a BB86 bottom bracket shell, flat-mount disc brakes, and a 12x100/12x142mm thru-axle standard front and rear. The ASTR carbon fork is paired to a geometry that balances race-ready steering with enough stability for longer days in the saddle.

The SRAM Rival E1 XPLR AXS ecosystem is purpose-engineered for gravel. The 13-speed rear derailleur, XG-1351 cassette (10-46t), Rival E1 Flattop chain, and Rival E1 AXS hydraulic shift/brake levers work as a wireless, cable-free system with a simplified cockpit. The Rival E1 XPLR DUB Wide crank arm assembly runs a 42t direct-mount chainring on SRAM's Road Wide DUB bottom bracket for a 47.5mm chainline optimized for 1x.

The Zipp 303 XPLR S carbon wheels bring a 54mm rim depth and 32mm internal width to the package, matched perfectly to the 700x47 Vittoria Terreno Dry tubeless tires. SRAM Paceline 160mm centerlock rotors provide quiet, consistent braking, and the package includes a spare AXS eTap battery and charger so you're covered from day one.

Heads up - We do our best to keep bike specs and images current, but occasional component changes can happen without warning, and sometimes the photos might not show the exact build you'll receive. If you want to double-check the details, our Gearheads are always here to help.
