Stem performance is determined by two things: how stiffly it connects bar to fork, and how reliably that connection holds under repeated loading. The Race Face Turbine 35mm Stem addresses both through CNC machining from 6061 aluminum alloy and an overbite faceplate design that distributes clamp load more evenly than a standard flat faceplate arrangement.

The overbite design creates a curved contact surface that wraps slightly around the bar, increasing the contact area between the faceplate and the handlebar and distributing clamping force more evenly across the full clamp zone. The practical result is a more secure bar-to-stem connection that resists rotation under hard cornering loads — relevant for Enduro and all-mountain riders who generate significant lateral force through the cockpit on technical descents. CNC machining from 6061 alloy removes material precisely where structural analysis allows it, producing a 138g stem at 50mm length that is competitive on weight with stems at higher price points without requiring carbon construction to get there.

Three length options — 32mm, 40mm, and 50mm — cover the range of short aggressive setups on longer-reach modern frames through standard all-mountain builds. The zero-degree rise keeps the bar height consistent with the steerer axis for a direct, aggressive cockpit position suited to modern trail and Enduro geometry.
