End Caps Are Tricky

Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I ran into the same issue other people mentioned here with the end caps. What I found though is if you have your bars sticking out an 1/8"+/- beyond the rubber grip on the bottom, then the clamp will have something to bite into and I think they are going to stay put. I don't like squishy grips and I like how these feel a lot. Feels like I have more control when riding.

+1 for Lock Ring Falling Off

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

Dangit, I loved these grips initially. Just the right size (33) and I thought having a lock ring on both ends was a great design. But one of mine already fell off after a few weeks. I thought it was just me but when I searched the issue I landed on this review page. Ugh. Nice grips, just please fix the lock ring design.

Great grip & looks good too

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

I picked the color because it was nearest the accent color for my 2019 Ibis Ripmo. This grip was easy to install and has a solid feel. I find it much better than the grip that came with the bike, which after less than a year were falling apart.

Good grips, not a fan of two clamps

The grips feel and look great. The larger diameter (33mm) is much more comfortable compared to what I had before. As an FYI my hands arent the biggest. Im not a fan of having a clamp on both ends of the grip but other than that they are good. I havent had the problem other reviewers have had with the end cap falling off.

Love these, but stupid cap fell off

Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Got the 33mm grips, super sticky and feel great in my hand (im 6'1, 170lb, long skinny hands). This should be a 5 star review but the stupid left grip end cap fell off. It doesn't change how solid the grips feels but i cant even look at my bike from the left side now! Took my bike by a shop for some work, shop owner said the reason the end caps fall off is if they aren't fully jammed on to the bar... that's all well and good but this wasn't my first grip swap (yes i hit the grip with my palm before tightening) and the grip only has 1 screw at the thumb, not on the end cap. Just to test, i moved the right grip out and did the same ride i lost the left on... right end cap is still there. not really sure what the deal is, maybe i knocked it lose? Will order another set, just annoying.
