Frame-mounted aero hydration on a race build has to satisfy two demands simultaneously — reduce aerodynamic drag meaningfully and stay accessible enough to use at race pace without fumbling. The Profile Design RZ3 Aero Water Bottle System is designed to meet both. The refined bottle shape complies with UCI regulations while optimizing airflow around the frame, reducing the frontal area and drag contribution that a conventional round bottle would add in the same position.

The RZ3 improves on the previous generation in two specific ways that matter at the build and race stages. A lower overall profile simplifies installation across a broader range of frame geometries, reducing the clearance challenges that taller aero bottle designs encounter on bikes with tighter down tube or seat tube spacing. The optimized cage design improves bottle release, allowing clean one-handed retrieval at race pace without the resistance that poorly fitting cages introduce. At 510ml the BPA-free HDPE bottle carries the right volume for a gel and water mix or straight hydration across standard race distances, and the soft construction squeezes easily from any riding position. Standard cage boss compatibility means the RZ3 mounts to virtually any road or triathlon frame without adapters, and replacement bottles and cages are available separately for long-term serviceability.
