Built for riders who demand protection without compromise, the VPD Max Elbow Protector combines advanced impact absorption with unrestricted mobility. The protector uses POC’s VPD material, which adapts to body heat to remain soft and flexible during normal movement, then instantly hardens upon impact to absorb crash forces. This dynamic behavior allows the pad to deliver certified EN 1621-1 Level 1 protection without the stiffness commonly associated with traditional armor.
Ventilation channels are integrated throughout the pad to promote airflow and prevent overheating during sustained climbs or high-output riding. The outer shell is constructed from high-tenacity polyamide yarns, creating a low-friction surface with excellent abrasion resistance to withstand repeated crashes and slides.
