Two Defective Units

I bought this for my son and on his first ride, the shell of the helmet separated from the body and fell into the street. As you can see from the photos, there's very little adhesive securing the two pieces. Based on previous positive experiences with both road and MTB POC helmets, I assumed it was a fluke. I exchanged for a second helmet only to have the exact same thing happen on his first ride. Clearly some design/quality issues with this specific helmet. Thankfully, Competitive Cyclist was great in dealing with the exchange of the first unit and return of the second unit.
