We built the Shadowcat around one simple goal: deliver maximum agility without sacrificing modern trail capability. Pivot constructs the frame using Hollow Core carbon technology to achieve an exceptional strength-to-weight ratio while maintaining durability for aggressive trail riding. The compact 27.5in wheel platform paired with short 430mm chainstays gives the bike a responsive, playful character that thrives on tight switchbacks, jumps, and technical terrain.

At the heart of the bike is Pivot’s dw-link suspension system delivering 140mm of rear travel. The vertically mounted trunnion-style air shock works in harmony with the linkage design to maintain pedaling efficiency while providing a supple feel through rough sections of trail. Up front, a 160mm FOX 36 fork with a 44mm offset complements the suspension platform, offering confident steering precision and stability when descending technical terrain.

The Shadowcat’s modern geometry balances long reach numbers with a low center of gravity to keep the ride stable without losing the bike’s playful character. Full internal cable routing through Pivot’s cable port system keeps the frame clean and protected, while compatibility with Pivot’s Tool Dock system adds convenient on-bike storage for trail essentials. With clearance for up to 2.4in tires and a geometry designed for confident control, the Shadowcat is purpose-built for riders who prioritize agility and creativity on the trail.
