Shop quality.
You may not have imagined yourself needing scissors when you're doing at-home bike maintenance, but after searching for a pair almost every time you do quick fixes on your bike, you've realized they'd probably be useful to have on-hand. Park Tool agrees, and the Minnesota-based tool manufacturer created its Shop Scissors to help you open boxes, cut bar tape and handlebar grips, and anything else that comes your way when you're in the garage. The stainless steel blades offer shop-quality durability, and the soft, dual-density grips keep your hands content during long afternoons.California Proposition 65

These are some rad scissors and a great price point for what you get. I will echo the other reviews, I would love it if the blades were half an inch longer and that is why I went 4 stars. I would buy them over again in a heartbeat, the blade length isn't a deal breaker but just a minor quibble. Definitely nicer quality than most other scissors you would find in this price range.

Strictly for bar tape.

These little dudes are super sharp. I use them exclusively for cutting bar tape. They are a little bit short, but you get used to it pretty quick. They're Also Park Blue, so they match every other tool on the bench.

They are sharp and handy. I wish the blades were a little larger for cutting into boxes, etc.

Great pair of shop scissors that allow for jamming out those fixes quickly. Love the leverage you can get with these when cutting tougher materials!

Tiny but Useful
At first I was a little bummed to get these and find out how small they are. The blade is really short along with the handle, but in a twist of fate they turned out to be really useful for a bunch of stuff. Ever fight with your bar tape for way too long? Feel like the zip ties on your new bike part where installed by a security expert? The basic idea is that this zip tie slayer can maneuver around tight spaces like handlebars to get the right cut the first time.

I keep these on hand with my other bike tools, mainly for cutting zip ties and stuff like that. They are reasonably well-built and not too expensive just like other Park Tool products. Not a bad idea to have around so you don't have to run to the kitchen or home office every time you need scissors.
