We spec this wheelset for riders who need a dependable foundation under a trail or enduro build, the kind of wheels that disappear beneath you because they're doing their job without complaint. OneUp designed the Aluminum Boost 29in Wheelset around the idea that front and rear wheels see different loads, and that distinction drives every decision in the build.

The 6069 aluminum rims share a 27mm depth and 30mm internal width, with angled bead walls and bead retention tracks that help keep tires seated under hard cornering loads. The front rim uses fewer spokes and less material for added compliance, while the rear gets thicker rim walls, reinforced nipple beds, and 32 spokes to handle braking forces and repeated impacts. Every rim is welded, shot-peened, powder-coated, and heat-treated before final assembly. OneUp's own hubs use a fully machined 7075 aluminum body with an integrated drive ring and a 44T ratchet drive, built around J-bend spokes from Sapim with double-butted construction and aluminum nipples. Fillmore Valves come licensed and pre-installed, offering significantly more airflow than a standard Presta valve for faster tubeless setup and fewer clogging issues, and the rims ship pre-taped with 3M tubeless tape.

Compatibility is straightforward: Boost spacing throughout, with a 15x110mm front and 12x148mm rear, an XDr freehub preinstalled with MS and HG drivers available separately, and 6-bolt rotor mounts for easy integration with most modern trail and enduro builds. The 3mm offset spoke drilling also improves spoke tension balance, which translates to a wheel that holds true longer between services.
