The Mavic Crossmax XL 29-inch mountain bike wheel threads its spoke nipples directly into a lower rim bridge, so the upper bridge stays solid and sealed under Mavic’s Fore technology. Tubeless tires seat with no tape, the rim gains stiffness, and each wheel sheds 30 grams.
