The Mavic Cosmic SLR 45 Disc 23mm front and rear wheels represent a benchmark in aerodynamic efficiency and precision handling. Built around 45mm-deep unidirectional carbon rims, they deliver measurable drag reduction while maintaining stability in crosswinds—ideal for all-around road performance. The 23mm internal width increases tire support and comfort, allowing riders to run lower pressures for smoother, faster rolling efficiency across mixed pavement.

Each wheel features Mavic’s proprietary FORE carbon construction, which threads the spoke nipples directly into the lower rim bridge to eliminate the need for holes in the upper bridge. This not only preserves full rim strength but also makes tubeless setup simple and completely airtight without rim tape. Combined with 24 aero spokes and 2-cross lacing on both front and rear, the build yields precise steering and excellent torque distribution under load.

Inside the hubs, Mavic Ceramic bearings ensure a frictionless spin and long-term reliability. The front hub runs 12x100mm spacing for clean brake alignment, while the rear uses 12x142mm spacing.
