Gel Mix 480

Maurten Gel Mix 480 packs 120 grams of carbohydrates into a single sachet, more than double a standard gel, and mixes into its compatible Maurten flask (sold separately) for fueling that holds up across hours in the saddle rather than a single dose between efforts. The same pH-sensitive Hydrogel Technology found in Maurten's other formats gels in the stomach here too, encapsulating carbohydrates so a rider pulling repeated sips from the same flask isn't managing GI distress along with wattage. On long stage days or century rides, the flask format cuts down on trailside wrappers and lets a rider carry a single, refillable source of fuel instead of stacking gels in a jersey pocket.
