The Magura MDR-S Brake Rotor is purpose-built to maximize braking consistency and thermal stability within the Gustav Pro system. At 2.5mm thick, its stainless steel construction significantly increases thermal mass compared to conventional rotors, improving heat dissipation and minimizing brake fade during sustained, high-load braking. This added thickness also enhances structural rigidity, reducing warping and vibration for quieter, smoother braking performance.

A precisely engineered braking track features specially shaped cutouts and a subtly waved outer profile. These design elements vent gases generated during heavy braking while simultaneously clearing dirt, dust, and debris from the pad interface. The result is consistent pad contact, predictable modulation, and improved control in demanding conditions.

The MDR-S incorporates a wear indicator that becomes visible at 2.1mm thickness, providing a clear service benchmark and extending usable lifespan.
