All the gas leaked out
- Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
The first and only time I tried to use this, all the gas leaked out around the Presta valve and I had to walk home. I only carried one CO2 cartridge with me. It just did not seal at all to the valve. There's no threads. I just held the fitting onto the Presta valve (which was screwed open of course) as hard as I could. Still don't know what I did wrong.
Lifesaver (ok, ride saver).
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
This tidy, compact kit fits in a jersey pocket or saddle bag nicely. The patches will get you back home or to your car, but are not meant to be a permanent solution.
"Race Day" repair kit.
The patches were very easy to use and adhered quickly to the tube. It's important to note that these are "Race Day" patches. They are good for about 24-36 hours. After that, you'll need to replace your tube.
I have only used the patch kit, on this. So, I didn't give the 5 stars, since I haven't deployed the CO2 cartridges, yet.
