Tight, for better and worse
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
So these things are pretty tight. They're metal so can probably bend a bit over their life but they are difficult to get bottles into and out of. Great for mountain biking where you want your bottles extra secure and probably will only drink when stopped. Not so ideal for road bikes if you want to grab a drink while riding. Ironically then, I can only use them on my road bike. You can't really side pull these. You gotta take it straight out. If you have tall bottles and smaller clearances then you're not gonna be able to make it work. Small bottles though will be fine unless you have a really small frame and need a full-on side-pull anyway. These do look pretty cool though. I especially like the matte, which matches my bikes.

My go-to cages
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
They're cheap, they never lose bottles, and you can get them in multiple colors. What else is there to say? I run these on gravel and mountain bikes and have never lost a bottle, and they've held up over thousands of miles.
