The CeraMAG Gravity 8.0 Stem delivers race-proven strength at featherweight cost

What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:

"I specced the CeraMAG Gravity 8.0 Stem on a full gravity build, and it punched well above its weight class. At under 120 grams even in the longest length, it's one of the lightest certified gravity stems I've put my hands on, and the ceramic coating gives you real confidence that wear resistance isn't being traded away for that low number. It installed cleanly on a 35mm carbon bar with zero drama."

Gravity riding demands that every component earn its place, and the CeraMAG Gravity 8.0 Stem from Leatt makes a compelling case at the front of the bike. Developed for aggressive enduro and freeride use, it carries a category 5 certification under the EFBE EPAC Gravity TRI-TEST standard, which is one of the most rigorous benchmarks a stem can be tested against. That certification matters when you're committed to a technical line and there's no room for uncertainty in your equipment.

The secret to the stem's strength-to-weight ratio is CeraMAG, Leatt's proprietary ceramic-coated magnesium alloy. The material is lighter than aluminum and measurably better at damping trail vibration, which translates to less fatigue and more feel over extended descents. Claimed weight comes in at 3.84oz (109g) for the 33mm length, 3.91oz (111g) for the 40mm, and 4.23oz (120g) for the 50mm. CNC machining throughout removes every gram that doesn't need to be there while giving the stem its distinctive, precise aesthetic.

The zero-gap faceplate design and 210-degree handlebar wrap were engineered with carbon bar compatibility as a priority. Clamping force is distributed evenly across the bar surface, reducing the stress concentration that can damage carbon. The interlocking faceplate interface adds structural rigidity to the connection while simplifying installation. An extra-wide clamping platform increases the contact area between stem and bar, contributing directly to front-end stability and steering precision at speed.

Compatible with 35mm bars and a 1-1/8in steerer with a 38mm stack height, this stem fits naturally into modern aggressive trail and enduro builds. Available in 33mm, 40mm, and 50mm lengths with zero rise, it suits riders who want a low, committed position. The integrated steerer tube seal cap is a small but considered detail that protects fork internals from contamination over the long term.
