Exactly As Expected

They work great. I fabricated L-brackets to use them with my truck's "cargo management system". I'm able to quickly bolt them in when needed and haul four bikes across the bed.

Can you post a photo of your L-track rig? Been trying to figure out a good way to do that myself. Thanks.

Perfect Cheap Solution
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
This is the perfect way to stash multiple bikes in your camper van or in the bed of your truck. Just like many others out there I chose to mount this on a 2X6 that sits in my truck. I can carry two bikes in the back of my truck safely and securely for less than $50. While not coming with mounting hardware may seem like a pain, it is actually great because you get to pick exactly how and where you mount the adapter.

I mounted this on a 2x6 cut to fit my F150 bed width. Works like a charm. No issues. Much cheaper than other pre-fab options available.

Will either of these work for just a regular front fork? Not quick release forks. Regular solid axle forks.

Love these mounts
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
These are a super inexpensive option to haul bikes in a truck bed or van. I mounted them under my tonneau cover in my truck bed for long trips since tailgate covers were wearing the paint on the downtubes of my bikes on extended trips. The dirtbag has been secure, and cheap enough to buy extra's in case your buddy is running an older axle setup.

Works Great!

I have a 2 bike rear mount rack from Kuat and love it but sometimes I wanna just throw a bike in the back of my truck and stay on the DL. I mounted these fork mounts on a 2 x 4 cut to the width of my truck bed using 3/8" lag screws and voila...

Sturdy Mount
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
This is a great sturdy mount at the price. There is no hardware included which is a bummer but I ended up just getting stuff from Ace hardware for Install. I got the 15x 110 which fit my boosted front fork perfect.

Great mount with one minor flaw
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
Overall the product is fantastic. It is very sturdy and fits a 20mm x 110mm fork perfectly without using any spacers. My only complaint, and the loss of a star, is that the mount holes are not centered on the mount plate. I have a Utilitrack system in my truck bed that I mounted this to and found that because the mount holes are off-centered I had to add a backing plate behind the mount in order to get it to work on my Utilitrack. A simple fix, but one that would not be necessary if the mount holes were centered.

The 15mm Thruaxle option is a 100mm width and not wide enough for a fork with Boost spacing.

well the kuat 15 fit 110 mm through axles as well, or is it just for 100mm? thanks!

The "Black Phat Bike 15mm" bike fork mount would fit a 15mm thru axel with 150mm spacing?

For anyone else out there. The Phat model is for 15mm x 142mm. Kuat now makes another 15mm x 150mm bikes, but is marked as such

With a quick release (9mm), I can see the fork dropping onto the mount, but what secures the fork to the mount?

A skewer.
April 7, 2016
I have a very specific use for this product. As such I need to know the exact width of the flat metal plate that bolts to the truck bed. Just the width will do (the length and thickness is not material). This question relates to the 9mmx100mm bed mount. Thank you

Could one of you kind people measure the height of this mount from bottom to center of thru axle? Thanks!
