The Kids Ride Shotgun MTB Tow Rope is a stretchy polyester tow rope designed to extend family rides by taking the grind out of climbs for younger or less powerful riders. The elastic construction is the defining feature: at rest the rope measures just over five feet, stretching to nearly eleven feet under load. That progressive stretch absorbs the initial tension of a tow and delivers a gradual, smooth pull rather than an abrupt jerk that could unsettle a young rider at the moment of takeoff.

The included stem loop makes the rope compatible with any bike without requiring a proprietary mount or additional hardware. The loop fits over or around the stem, keeps the attachment point low and central, and removes cleanly when the climb is done. The rope is generously rated for a wide range of rider sizes, making it suitable across the full span of family riding scenarios from young beginners to adults needing a hand on a steep pitch.
