Mojito X Helmet
We looked pretty hard to try and analyze the differences between the new Mojito X Helmet from Kask and the previous Mojito and we kept coming up short on any details. That's not meant to be a negative, a compliment really, as the Mojito is already a very good helmet and some new colorways are always welcome. With that being said, Kask presents us with a helmet that’s designed to be safe, comfortable, and exudes Italian style.
The Mojito is fabricated using In-mold construction which essentially bonds the inner polystyrene cap to the outer polycarbonate one, allowing it to better cope with impacts. The fit system uses Kask’s Up-N-Down ratchet adjustment that allows the helmet to sit below the occipital bone for optimal fit and comfort. The liner features a non-slip gel to ensure your helmet doesn’t slide around on the course of your ride. Twenty-six air vents rush air in freely to dry perspiration while letting excessive heat exhaust.
One of our favorite features is its faux leather chinstrap that's hypoallergenic and is much more comfortable than the usual salt crusted nylon strap that wants to saw through your skin. Final details include the antibacterial and antimicrobial Sanitized inner padding keeping the helmet feeling fresh and stink free for many miles.
