Description

CO2 Refill

We now sell Innovations 16 gram threaded CO₂ Cartridges as singles. Each cartridge has enough CO₂ to inflate a 700 x 23c tire to roughly 100psi. On the trail, one 16g cartridge will inflate a typical 26" mountain bike tire to roughly 40psi. We generally like to ride with a couple cartridges for added insurance against unforeseen events, like double punctures. Or you may need to loan one to a friend in need.

Please Note: Per UPS regulations, ORM-D items such as this must ship via surface transport: UPS Ground or UPS Standard (Canada). We are unable to ship ORM-D items Internationally, or to Alaska, Hawaii or Puerto Rico.

  • Ships via ground only

Fix your flat

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

You get a lot of flats in the winter. Ski bums like to throw glass all over the road, their second favorite thing to do besides shred the POW. It is cold and I need to fix my flats as fast as possible, it is race. I either have 100 psi in my tire or frost bite. These threaded CO2s make it easy. I like that they come in singles. These get the job don

What You Need.

Good to have in the saddlebag or pack. Good size to air up road and CX tires. A quick and easy way to get you going again after a flat.

works as advertised

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

It's never a good thing if you have to use one of these, but you'll be glad it's there. I've never had an issue with these that was attributable to the cannister itself. If you're new to using these or your fine motor skills aren't all that they could be, bring two when you go out just in case you screw up the first time.

Standard CO2. Did the trick. Would be nice if to have 20g as road and mtb tires keep getting larger.

Wish we had 20g

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

With wider road and mtb tires now de rigeur, it makes way more sense to have 20g cartridges as standard. 16g gets you home, 20g gives you plenty to blast the beads back on to your tubeless setup should it come unseated in the process.

Real deal

I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Looks like just what I needed. Not too big, Im going to take two with me on the trail.

Used several times.

These canisters are affordable, easy to attach to the tire, and work well.

Set a bead on trail.

I don't seem to get flats since I went tubeless, but I do sometimes burp a sidewall. If you set yourself up right you can set the bead again with one of these guys. I also carry a little pump to top off the 29er tires and get back on the trail. This kit is good value, be sure to give some away to friends. Think of it as them carrying your gas...

I love these. Pair them with the genuine innovations head and you are golden. No need to bring any little pumps. At such a reasonable cost, it will make your day far better when you get a flat and need a quick fill.

Got a flat? Fill it back up fast with C02. I like to use a simple inflation head with the cartridge and keep things simple. Don't be caught without your repair needs.

Gets the job done

CO2 cartridges are handy for fixing on trail flats. Fixing a flat takes a fraction of the time than using a hand pump. In a pinch, can also be used to reseat a bead on a tubeless tire.

You need these.

Stock up, couple for your Camelbak, couple for your work bench. Key item to have- bummed when you don't. Don't get caught out there with out one. I use mine with this. Super slick, and doesn't take up much room. http://www.backcountry.com/lezyne-twin-speed-drive-co2

Nifty

What a perfect little match with the Microflate Nano Inflator (INN0007). Super small, don't really notice it in your pack until you need it- and then you're STOKED that you have them on hand, inflate your tire quickly and painlessly.

So I bought this refill to go with the inflator http://www.competitivecyclist.com/innovations-air-chuck-elite-inflator and love the size of both. They fit great into the small saddle bag. If a flat comes I'm ready for it!

Always needed

I always keep 4-5 tubes and 4-5 cartridges in my home bike shop. These are things you need to keep a stock of.

Be Prepared

Flat's are a bummer, but if you can't avoid them it's best to be prepared with a couple of these in your pack. These 16 gram cartridges are perfect for filling your 26er back up without having to deal with a hand pump. Don't forget an inflator to replace the CO2 with air once you get home.
